I met Katlynn and Scott at an open house at Alvis Farm at Slate Creek last year. They entered my drawing for a complimentary engagement session and won! We tried to plan something earlier this year but they were going through a move, and things need to be pushed back to the fall. We had a date set for October at Berkley Plantation, but sadly that date was rained out. We rescheduled for the following week and they had decided on a new location. And, boy, Im glad we waited.
We met in Farmville, and I followed them to their “secret” location. We drove down a very long dirt driveway until we reached the top of a hill that looked over the Blue Ridge Mountains. This was a family members property and it was amazing! The fall colors, rolling hills, mountain skyline, and hidden pond was the perfect spot to do this session.
I enjoyed getting to know Katlynn and Scott a little more as we explored the property. They have been together a long time and I can tell they are destined for forever. They haven’t decided on a date for their wedding yet, but I know it will be nothing short of amazing.
